Artifact Adventurers is a program that engages 1st to 5th grade children in guided age-appropriate history lessons, songs, stories, crafts, and games. Children will learn about local history through demonstrations, interactive activities and behind-the-scenes tours of exhibits. The program takes place every second Saturday from 9:30-11:30AM. Parents can either sit in the back and watch the class or relax in a special waiting area.*

Electricity and the Erie Canal played a huge part in the history of Buffalo! Learn about where electricity came from and who helped bring it to Buffalo. The Erie Canal connected Buffalo to Albany, requiring new feats in engineering. We will learn how the canal impacted daily life in Buffalo.
June 8th 9:30am-11:30am - Leaders and Laborers
Leaders and laborers have shaped our city and helped it grow. Learn about local leaders who have made a difference in social activism and laborers who have worked and fought to make Buffalo what it is today.
*If it is the child’s first time with the program, the parent or guardian will need to fill out some paperwork. This will be emailed to the email address given with the reservation, but can also be completed upon arrival to the museum.
